On May 2nd, Mr Romain Schneider, Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, and Mr Pierre Gramegna, Minister of Finance, visited the House of Microfinance in Luxembourg.
All the entities of the House of Microfinance were present: ADA, the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP), InFiNe.lu, the Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund (LMDF), the Microinsurance Network and microlux. The House of Microfinance was created in 2007. This visit was the opportunity to celebrate its 10th anniversary but also for the Ministers of Finance and Development Cooperation to reaffirm the political and financial commitment of the Luxembourg Government to inclusive finance.
Agreements with e-MFP, InFiNe.lu and the Microinsurance Network were renewed. The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs – Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs has extended its support to InFiNe.lu until December 2019.
