The Luxembourg Cooperation supports microfinance and inclusive finance for more than 20 years. In 2016, it renewed its commitments with various partners in the sector, such as the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) for 2016-2018 and LuxFLAG for 2016-2017. It supported InFiNe.lu and e-MFP for the organisation of the European Microfinance Award 2016 “Microfinance for Education”.
