InFiNe.lu, as member of SPTF (Social Performance Task Force), took part in the SPTF Annual Conference organised late February in India. The conference was this year jointly organised by SPTF, CGAP, Dvara and LeapFrog Investments.
The event gathered 250 inclusive finance service providers, investors and policy makers during 4 days and focused on Customer Centricity: Enabling Financial Choices and Postive Outcomes for Low-Income Customers. Each day stated with a plenary session followed by meetings, workshops and demonstrations. Practically, the programme offered workshops on data analysis, measurement tools and indicators, case studies on the use of technology to improve products and services with the positive effects on beneficiaries as a result.
The first day was mainly devoted to the SPTF Working Groups Meetings, but also offered to the ones not involved in a working group to receive a free introductory training on the Universal Standards for Social Performance Management.
InFiNe.lu had the opportunity to take part of the Social Investors Working Group which presented 30 minutes presentations on updates, tools and best practices in the sector. Find the agenda of this meeting, the notes and presentations.
The 3 next days offered the participants methodologies and tools and presented case studies and feedbacks from the fields on how best to implement a more customer-centric approach to financial services and products. Find here the presentations and notes of each sessions.
It was the opportunity for InFiNe.lu to rise awarness on the Luxembourg inclusive finance sector and create contacts with other networks and national platforms. It also was the occasion to promote the European Microfinance Award to MFIs active in digital finance (this year European Microfinance Award is on Digital Finance!) and meet with past finalists and winner attending the conference.
