Innpact, InFiNe.lu member, celebrated its 10th anniversary during an inspiring conference day on Impact Investing organised on February 27th at the Abbaye of Neumunster with the presence of Mr Pierre Gramegna, Luxembourg Minister of Finance, Ms Carole Dieschbourg, Luxembourg Minister of Environment, and Dr Bertrand Piccard, Initiator and Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation.
The day was dedicated to interactive sessions on the different niches of impact finance such as Sustainable Development Goals Finance, Climate Finance and the perspective for investors.
Dr Bertrand Piccard, initiator, chairman and co-pilot of Solar Impulse, the first successful round-the-world solar powered flight gave a keynote speech on solutions that can protect the environment in a profitable way. He encouraged not only decision makers to adopt much more ambitious environmental and energy policies but also impact finance investors to make people known what they are doing.
The importance to communicate even more on climate and impact finance initiatives was the key message of the day.
During the conference, Innpact launched its new website including a short movie describing the work they are doing.
