The free online course “Commercialization of Social Enterprises: Stemming the Tide of Mission Drift” is developped by the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Find out how to avoid mission drift when transitioning a social enterprise or microfinance venture into a for-profit organisation.

The free online course (MOOC) offers insights into the issue of commercialisation or marketisation of social enterprises and will address such topics as how commercialisation affects the management and operations of social enterprises, and which avenues could or should be used to avoid mission drift. Daniel Rozas from e-MFP will feature as one of the guest speakers.

Practical information
This course is designed for students and practitioners in social enterprises or microfinance, and more generally everyone who wants to know more about social enterprises and microfinance.

The next run of this 5 week course includes a total of 12-15 hours of content from a wide range of leading academic and practitioners in social enterprise and microfinance.
