Location: Maison de la Microfinance
Organiser: InFiNe x FRIENDSHIP Luxembourg
Event type: Event
InFiNe is pleased to announce a Knowledge Sharing Event on February 11, 2026, featuring our member Friendship Luxembourg.
This session will highlight Friendship’s 23 years of experience in Bangladesh, working in favour of the poorest and most remote communities. It will showcase the organization’s unique integrated approach to bridging gaps in basic human services. By combining services for millions in health, education and training, income-generating activities, access to rights, climate change adaptation, disaster preparedness, emergency relief, humanitarian aid, agroecology, economic development, and green energy, Friendship has developed a comprehensive model now complemented by microfinance and financial assistance.
Microfinance could be seen as the end of the journey, but it is rather a continuation, opening space for new partnerships and innovative investment opportunities that are already supported or could be further supported from Luxembourg.
Stéphane Van Haute
The programme will feature a presentation on Friendship’s integrated journey, followed by an interactive Q&A session moderated by InFiNe.
Speaker: Stéphane Van Haute, Climate Adaptation & Communications, FRIENDSHIP Luxembourg
Format: Hybrid event
