The InsurTech revolution is upon us, but what exactly is being done to harness the untapped opportunities spurred by innovation? Meeting this challenge of a quickly evolving space requires a rethink on the part of regulators and supervisors, to ensure a balance is struck between facilitating innovation, while increasing the inclusivity of the insurance sector and maintaining a fair, safe and stable environment for policyholders. How then, can various stakeholders – insurance supervisors and policymakers, private sector insurers, data and technology service providers – cooperate and align their roles to achieve sustainability and scale, while ensuring the fair treatment of all clients?

Enter the 12^th Consultative Forum (CF12), the first of a three-part series to be held this year, co-organised by the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii) and the Microinsurance Network (MiN) on “InsurTech: rising to the regulatory challenge”.
