The “Sustainable Finance Series (advanced)” is a 4-module programme. Attendance of all four modules is possible but not mandatory.

This online training is made for anyone interested in sustainable finance and in a potential ESG investment strategy and who wishes to know more about ESG and sustainable finance.

Participants are expected to have a basic knowledge of sustainable finance principles (i.e. understand what is ESG, knowledge of certain existing market initiatives).

This online training module 4 will cover:

  • The major requirements of reporting to be made by corporates to their shareholders/investors.
  • The reporting requirements for the content of reports issued by Corporates / Investee companies, through the use of different examples of corporate reporting, including covering the most frequently used reporting frameworks, the EU reporting obligations e.g. Non-Financial Reporting Directive requirements, Taxonomy Regulation requirements etc.
  • The reporting requirements of financial sector promoters and asset managers, and the product related reporting requirements, principally linked to the Regulation (2019/2088) on Sustainability related disclosures for the financial sector, as well as the Draft regulatory technical standards issued in an ESAs Joint Consultation Paper on ESG Disclosures.
  • An outline of the other voluntary reporting standards available to financial sector organisations including UNPRI reporting requirements and ESG product labels
