The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) has announced the call for applications for the 8th Edition of Catapult: Inclusion Africa, taking place in Nairobi, Kenya from October 13-17, 2025, during the African Inclusive Finance Week. The program is proudly supported by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in partnership with ADA – Appui au Développement Autonome.
The initiative seeks 10 innovative African fintech firms driving inclusive finance across the continent, specifically those working to provide underserved and underbanked populations with access to financial products and services.
Selected participants will benefit from a fully-funded 5-day fintech acceleration bootcamp featuring hands-on mentorship from global experts, industry insights and workshops, strategic networking with investors, regulators and ecosystem players, and focused support on impact, scaling, and funding.
Carol Kyazze Kakooza, CEO of aXiom Zorn from Uganda and alumna from the 7th Edition in 2024, praised the program:
“Catapult: Inclusion Africa was a game-changer for me. The insights gained from the program have empowered me to approach challenges with greater confidence and clarity, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned as I continue to grow my business.”
The program targets startups building solutions that empower underserved communities across Africa, supporting Luxembourg’s commitment to fostering financial inclusion through innovation.
