The 14th edition of the Business Partnership Facility is now open!
This initiative, funded by the Luxembourg Government and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, offers co-financing of up to EUR 200,000 for projects by Luxembourg or EU-based enteprises that integrate sustainability through partnerships with organisations in developing countries.
Recently selected projects show how private sector actors from Luxembourg and Europe are using innovation to advance sustainable development:
Since its launch in 2016, the BPF has supported 50 partnership projects linking European businesses with organisations in more than 20 developing countries.
The BPF empowers companies to put their technologies and expertise to work in high-impact projects – from feasibility studies and pilot schemes to building new value chains or scaling up proven solutions.
The BPF targets private sector enterprises based in Luxembourg or the EU that :
Eligible projects must be implemented in partnership with an entity – wether a company, NGO, or public body, etc. – in a developing country (over 140 countries are eligible). They must demonstrate innovation, financial viability, and measurable impact aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Applicants have until 31 October 2025 to submit their projects via luxaidbusiness4impact.grantplatform.com.

The BPF is initiated and funded by the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, Luxinnovation, and the Ministry of the Economy.
