InFiNe (Inclusive Finance Network Luxembourg) is pleased to announce the selection of the Amarante Consulting and Briter Bridges consortium as the service provider for its comprehensive mapping of Luxembourg’s inclusive finance ecosystem. This strategic initiative represents a key milestone in InFiNe’s multi-year strategic plan and builds upon the organization’s successful 2021 ecosystem analysis.
“As part of our renewed strategic framework for 2024-2026, we are undertaking this comprehensive update of Luxembourg’s inclusive finance ecosystem mapping to serve as both a communication and engagement tool,” states Philippe Guichandut, Interim Director at InFiNe.
“Our goal is to provide essential information for local stakeholders about the key players, initiatives, and projects within Luxembourg’s inclusive finance sector, while strengthening our country’s position internationally as a center of excellence in inclusive finance.”
The final deliverable will be an interactive and dynamic dashboard presenting the landscape of inclusive finance actors in Luxembourg accessible through InFiNe’s website. The platform will include both InFiNe members and relevant non-member organizations, offering detailed information about their expertise, projects, and activities in the sector.
This mapping update reflects the continued growth and evolution of Luxembourg’s inclusive finance sector since the initial 2021 analysis, accommodating the expanding scope to incorporate impact finance and climate action within the broader inclusive and sustainable finance landscape.
“Following the launch of a call for tenders in December 2024, we received multiple applications from qualified consultancy firms and organizations across Europe and beyond. Each proposal was carefully evaluated against ten comprehensive criteria covering relevant experience and expertise, methodological approach, technical capabilities, project management skills, cost structure, and proven track record.” explains Irene Pancheri, Project Manager at InFiNe.
Through this systematic evaluation,“we conducted an initial assessment and shortlisted the most promising candidates for deeper evaluation.”
These finalists were then reviewed by InFiNe’s leadership. After thorough evaluation and internal discussions, the consortium led by Amarante Consulting and Briter Bridges emerged as the preferred candidate, a decision that was validated by InFiNe’s Strategy and Communication Committee in April 2025 and formally approved by the Board of Directors in May 2025.
The Amarante Consulting and Briter Bridges partnership brings together complementary expertise essential for delivering a high-quality, dynamic mapping platform. Amarante Consulting specializes in inclusive finance strategy, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building, while Briter Bridges excels in data analysis, custom digital platform development, and ecosystem mapping. Together, they have implemented interactive and scalable mapping solutions for numerous organizations across diverse markets.
The consortium demonstrates deep sectoral expertise spanning digital financial services, microfinance, banking, gender equality, financial inclusion, capacity building, and applied research, with extensive experience across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Particularly valuable for this project is the team’s established relationships with key Luxembourg ecosystem players and InFiNe members, including ADA, Finance in Motion, SPTF Europe, and the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), with whom they have collaborated on consulting missions and joint initiatives.
The consortium is also active within the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP), another of our member, and regularly participates in flagship local events, demonstrating their deep integration within the broader inclusive finance community that Luxembourg leads.
The mapping project officially started following Board approval. The consortium has proposed a clear and precise methodology with well-defined phases, including regular meetings with the InFiNe team and the establishment of an ad hoc committee for project oversight.
The initiative is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, allowing sufficient time for comprehensive stakeholder engagement throughout Luxembourg’s inclusive finance ecosystem, thorough data collection and analysis, and development of a user-friendly, sustainable platform, that will be integrated in the redesigned InFiNe website.
