InFiNe members are playing a prominent role in the XI Central American and Caribbean Microfinance Conference (REDCAMIF), taking place from June 24-27, 2025, in San José, Costa Rica. The conference, themed “Sustainable Finance for an Inclusive, Resilient and Green Future,” brings together leaders from across the inclusive finance sector.
InFiNe and The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) are collaborating closely throughout the conference, sharing a joint booth and co-creating content to promote Luxembourg’s inclusive finance ecosystem. This partnership culminates in a special panel on June 25 titled “Luxembourg at the Heart of Inclusive Finance: Progress, Action and Impact,” which will showcase the breadth of Luxembourg’s expertise in the sector.
The Luxembourg delegation brings together representatives from across the ecosystem: ADA‘s Executive Director Laura Foschi will participate in both the opening expert interview “The Future of Sustainability: Finance and Sustainable Culture” and the Luxembourg panel. LHoFT‘s Ecosystem Manager, Luca Mancuso, will moderate the panel. Annabelle Albert-Fonteneau, who leads the Catapult: Inclusion programs, will announce the launch of Catapult: Inclusion LATAM acceleration program supporting inclusive fintech startups that aim to improve financial inclusion in emerging regions; Luxembourg Aid & Development‘s Louis de Muyser, Leader of Inclusive and Innovative Finance, will highlight the country’s development cooperation commitment; LuxDev‘s Francesca Randazzo, Expert on Sustainable and Innovative Finance, will contribute insights from Luxembourg’s development cooperation projects; and Cerise+SPTF‘s Director for Europe Paola D’Angelo will contribute the network’s social performance expertise.

Cerise+SPTF is organizing two workshops: “How to Develop an Environmental Strategy” (24/06/2025 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM) and “Management Standards for Responsible Provision of Digital Financial Services” (24/06/2025 from 9:00AM to 4:00PM). You can register for both workshops HERE.
ADA, in partnership with FAO and Luxembourg Aid & Development, is conducting “Rural Finance – Agricultural Financing in a Climate Change Context” on June 24 from 9:00AM to 6:00PM. This comprehensive training shares a joint morning session with the Cerise+SPTF environmental strategy workshop, covering climate change fundamentals and environmental performance management. The afternoon session focuses specifically on designing green financial products for agriculture. The FAR (Agricultural and Rural Finance) training course supports financial institutions in expanding and improving their rural and agricultural service portfolios. Register HERE.
ADA is also leading “Building Trust: A Roadmap for a Successful Due Diligence Process” in partnership with Microfact and BRS (24/06/2025 from 2:00 to 4:30PM). Register HERE.
June 25 Workshop(s):
The Microinsurance Network (MiN) is hosting “Inclusive Insurance: A Key Instrument for Development and Risk Management” in collaboration with partners Serinsa, Milliman, and Briner Bancaseguros & Affinity, providing capacity building and peer exchange on the strategic role of inclusive insurance within the microfinance sector, featuring interactive group exercises, case-based learning, and expert-led discussions. The workshop is open to all participants attending the conference; however registration is required.

The Microinsurance Network (MiN) will also participate in the plenary “The Regional Microinsurance Landscape, Closing Gaps and Building Resilience” on Thursday (26/06/2025 from 1:30 to 3:30PM) with Senior Manager Asier Achutegui.
ADA is leading multiple sessions: Wendy Medrano and Paula Cortés will present “Integrating Climate Adaptation for Vulnerable Populations in MFI Green Strategy” (26/06/2025 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM) focusing on ADA’s Inclusive Climate Finance Initiative, while Nausica Fiorelli will participate in the panel “Transparency and Biodiversity: How to Prepare for Sustainable Investment Fund Requirements” (26/06/2025 from 11:15AM to 12:15PM). On Friday (27/06/2025 from 9 to 10:30AM), Carla Palomares will participate in the panel “Value Chain Financing in Climate Adaptation” focusing on sustainable and inclusive value chains.
Cerise+SPTF is active across multiple sessions with Cara Forster, Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, moderating the AI panel and Paola D’Angelo participating in the biodiversity panel alongside ADA.
On June 26, LuxDev‘s Francesca Randazzo will moderate the opening conversation “No Turning Back: Continuing to Advance Towards Sustainable Inclusion in Central America and the Caribbean”.
e-MFP’s Green Inclusive and Climate Smart Finance Action Group (GICSF-AG) is hosting a dedicated networking session on Thursday titled “Green Inclusive Finance: Building Partnerships Between Investors and Financial Service Providers,” coordinated by Ligia Castro Monge (26/06/2025 from 3:30 to 5:00PM). This pioneering group, active for over a decade in green finance, will facilitate panel discussions, investor pitch sessions, and speed-dating networking opportunities between investors and financial service providers.
AFI (Alliance for Financial Inclusion) and other global networks with Luxembourg connections will also contribute their expertise to the regional dialogue on financial inclusion.
The strong participation of InFiNe members underscores Luxembourg’s continued commitment to supporting financial inclusion globally and especially in Central America and the Caribbean. The conference will definitely provide an important platform for our members to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and share innovative approaches with regional stakeholders.
