InFiNe Holds Successful General Assembly: New Members, Strategic Updates, and Visual Identity Launch

The Inclusive Finance Network Luxembourg (InFiNe) held its annual General Assembly on June 11, 2025, at EY Luxembourg’s offices, bringing together 33 members’ voices both present in-person and online, or represented. The event concluded with a networking lunch on EY’s terrace.

Key Highlights from 2024 and Early 2025

The assembly reviewed InFiNe’s achievements over the past year, with the network executing its three strategic pillars: increasing visibility, sharing information, and facilitating networking.

2024 engagement figures reflected strong member participation:

  • 95% of members participated in at least one InFiNe activity
  • 16 internal events organized, including 10 Knowledge Sharing Events
  • Participation in 14 external events, meetings, and programs
  • Significant growth in LinkedIn followers and newsletter subscribers

Early 2025 progress included 11 events already organized, a newsletter transitioned from quarterly to monthly publication and continued momentum in all strategic areas.

Expanding Our Community

The assembly welcomed two new members in early 2025: Friendship Luxembourg and the Financing Innovation Tool (FIT). Axel De Ville, Chairman of FIT, and Stéphane Van Haute, Climate Adaptation & Communications at Friendship Luxembourg, briefly presented their organizations and their contributions to the inclusive finance ecosystem to the assembly.

Business Decisions and Governance

Under the leadership of Chairman Tom Pfeiffer, Interim Director Philippe Guichandut, and with the participation of Treasurer Laurent Capolaghi, members addressed standard assembly business and strategic updates.

Routine approvals included:

  • 2024 audited annual accounts
  • Discharge of administrators for their 2024 mandate
  • 2025 annual budget approval and activities plan
  • Re-election of Tom Pfeiffer as member of the Board

Strategic organizational updates:

  • Enhanced Social Mission: Members approved modifications to the association’s social mission and statutes, ensuring alignment with current activities and future strategic orientations
  • Modern Governance Standards: Updated statutes to comply with Luxembourg’s new law of August 7, 2023 on non-profit associations and foundations, including limiting Board member mandates to two consecutive terms
  • Sustainable Growth: New membership fee structure approved to support the network’s continued expansion and impact

New Visual Identity Unveiled

The assembly marked the unveiling of InFiNe’s new logo and visual identity, reflecting the network’s evolution 10 years after its creation. The new design received positive reactions from members and reinforced their sense of pride in being part of the network.

Ecosystem Mapping Project Update

The assembly also heard about progress on the comprehensive mapping of Luxembourg’s inclusive finance actors, with the presence of our partner Amarante Consulting, selected earlier this year with their technical partner Briter to update and digitize the ecosystem mapping.

Looking Ahead

As InFiNe moves forward with its 2024-2026 strategic plan, the network continues to strengthen Luxembourg’s position as a center of excellence for inclusive finance. The organization will leverage the collective expertise of its diverse membership to support sustainable and impactful development worldwide.

The new visual identity will be progressively deployed across all communication channels, starting at the end of June 2025, and followed by the refreshed website later this year to further enhance the digital presence of the network. A detailed article about the new identity and the project behind it will be published separately.
