Both financial and environmental sustainability are listed high on the world’s agenda. Green inclusive finance combines financial inclusion with environmental sustainability. Green Inclusive Finance extends the focus to providing access to finance in which business and investments are not only financially empowering, but also environmentally sustainable.
The aim of the event is twofold:
1) to illustrate the sense of urgency of greening the inclusive finance sector ; a must-be on the sector’s agenda; and 2) to demonstrate real life practices of successful green inclusive finance business models and contemplate how to upscale/replicate these examples; different ypes of organisations will highlight their efforts.
The conference offers the inclusive finance community a unique platform to foster knowledge sharing.
