As Luxembourg is known as a pioneer in the field of sustainable finance, the University of Luxembourg is anticipating the need of experts in launching a Sustainable Finance specialisation (track) within its Master of Science in Finance and Economics.
Developed by academics and professionals, students of this track will proactively and critically engage with case studies and practical solutions adapted by financial institutions in the area of sustainable finance and investment. The skilled staff have experience managing and modelling sustainability risks, performing ESG (environmental, social, and governance) due-diligence of investments, and developing strategies for public and private institutions.
The track is supported by the Luxembourg Government (Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development) which further promote Luxembourg as the sustainable finance services hub.
