A, Association des Compagnies d’assurances et de réassurances du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, is the representative association of Luxembourg-based insurance and reinsurance undertakings. Created in 1956, ACA aims to represent, support and promote the sector. It organises trainings targetting the professionals, conducts studies of the sector and collects statistics, offers mediation and informs the professionals and the public of the new trends, questions or activities.
Bamboo Capital Partners, BCP, defines itself as a commercial impact investor specialising in business models that produce and deliver essential products and services to low-income consumers in growth markets globally. It invests in off-grid solar energy, healthcare and the financial services sectors with an emphasis on segments where technology, business model innovation and local expertise can be combined to profitably scale access to new and improved products and services for low and lower-middle income consumers as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
