ADA Launches “Bridging the Gap”: Connecting Research and Practice in Inclusive Finance

ADA has launched Bridging the Gap, a new publication series developed within the framework of the ADA Chair in Financial Law (Inclusive Finance), created in partnership with the University of Luxembourg.

The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between academic research and operational realities in inclusive finance by translating research findings into practical insights, tools and reflections for practitioners, policymakers and ecosystem actors.

The ADA Chair focuses on advancing research, training and knowledge sharing in inclusive finance and financial law, while contributing to the development of more inclusive and sustainable financial ecosystems in emerging and developing economies.

Through “Bridging the Gap”, ADA seeks to make academic expertise more accessible and actionable for professionals working in the sector. The series reflects a broader ambition to encourage dialogue between researchers and practitioners and support evidence-based approaches to inclusive finance challenges.

The initiative also contributes to reinforcing Luxembourg’s positioning as an international hub for inclusive and impact finance, by fostering collaboration between academia, practitioners and development actors.

By promoting applied research and operational knowledge sharing, the series highlights the importance of bridging theory and practice to strengthen financial inclusion policies, regulatory frameworks and field implementation.
