e-MFP Launches the Financial Inclusion Compass 2026 Survey

European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) has launched the Financial Inclusion Compass 2026 Survey, inviting practitioners, investors, policymakers and sector experts to share their perspectives on the trends shaping the future of inclusive finance.

As one of the sector’s recognised annual pulse-check exercises, the Financial Inclusion Compass helps capture emerging priorities, risks and opportunities across the global ecosystem. The initiative contributes to a stronger evidence base for decision-makers working to expand access to responsible and impactful financial services.

Taking the Pulse of Inclusive Finance

The survey seeks insights from a wide range of stakeholders on the evolving landscape of inclusive finance, including areas such as:

  • innovation and digital transformation
  • climate resilience and adaptation finance
  • responsible investment and impact measurement
  • regulation and consumer protection
  • gender and youth inclusion
  • financial health and resilience
  • future priorities for underserved communities.

By gathering diverse perspectives, the Compass helps identify where momentum is building and where additional collaboration may be needed.

Why Participation Matters

Inclusive finance is evolving rapidly. From new technologies and blended finance models to growing expectations around measurable impact, the sector benefits from collective intelligence and practical feedback from those working on the ground.

The Financial Inclusion Compass offers an opportunity for ecosystem actors to help shape a forward-looking understanding of where the sector is heading and how resources can be mobilised most effectively.

Luxembourg Expertise in a Global Dialogue

As a Luxembourg-based network active internationally, e-MFP plays an important role in connecting actors across geographies and disciplines. The launch of the 2026 survey also highlights Luxembourg’s continued contribution as a centre for dialogue, innovation and thought leadership in inclusive finance.

For InFiNe members and the broader Luxembourg ecosystem, participating in such initiatives helps ensure local expertise contributes to global conversations.
