Shaping Financial Inclusion: AFI Q1 Working Group Meetings, 2–4 March

InFiNe member the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) will host its Q1 Working Group Meetings virtually from 2 to 4 March 2026, bringing together all seven Working Groups to launch the year’s activities.

The programme will open on 2 March with a Global Convergence session, convening the full network for updates, strategic alignment and cross-cutting exchange. On 3–4 March, individual Working Groups will meet to advance their 2026 workplans, engage in thematic knowledge exchange, conduct technical peer reviews, share subgroup updates and recognize Working Group achievements.

The meetings will bring together the following groups:

  • Consumer Empowerment and Market Conduct Working Group (CEMCWG)
  • Digital Financial Services Working Group (DFSWG)
  • Financial Inclusion Data and Impact Working Group (FIDIWG)
  • Financial Inclusion Strategy Peer Learning Group (FISPLG)
  • Global Standards Proportionality Working Group (GSPWG)
  • Inclusive Green Finance Working Group (IGFWG)
  • SME Finance Working Group (SMEFWG)

According to AFI, the sessions aim to foster forward-looking dialogue, strengthen implementation-focused collaboration and advance practical policy outcomes across its global network.
