e-MFP Welcomes Five New Members to Its Growing Network

InFiNe member e-MFP continues to expand its community with the addition of three institutional members and two individual experts committed to advancing financial inclusion worldwide.

The new institutional members bring diverse expertise across impact investment, fintech, and insurtech:

GAWA Capital, a Spanish impact investment firm established in 2009, manages over €300 million across four funds investing in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South Asia. The firm provides debt and equity investments alongside technical assistance to financial institutions and social enterprises serving underserved populations. GAWA is an active member of several networks and a long-time participant in e-MFP’s Green Inclusive Finance Action Group.

Musoni System, founded in 2013 and based in the Netherlands, provides cloud-based banking software for MFIs, SACCOs, NGOs, and rural banks. Born from the team’s experience founding Kenya’s first 100% cashless microfinance institution, Musoni’s platform now serves more than 70 financial institutions across 30 countries. The company has been recognized by CGAP and the Mastercard Foundation for innovation in financial technology.

TruNord Technologies Ltd., founded in 2021 and headquartered in Dubai, is an InsurTech company using technology to expand insurance access in the financial inclusion space. Its flagship platforms—KAI Insure and HealthPass—enable insurers and intermediaries to design and deliver microinsurance solutions adapted to vulnerable groups. Currently active in Egypt and the Middle East, TruNord is preparing to expand into Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

e-MFP also welcomed two new individual members: Katrin Fakiri (UAE), a governance and global development finance expert with over 20 years’ experience focusing on gender inclusion and institutional resilience; and Alejandra Ríos (Germany), a finance and gender specialist with over 25 years’ experience in inclusive finance and women’s economic empowerment.
