The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) has revealed the selected fintech startups from Thailand and Vietnam joining the second edition of Catapult: Inclusion Southeast Asia, with support from Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Asian Development Bank.
The programme showcases Luxembourg’s commitment to fostering fintech innovation that addresses financial inclusion challenges in emerging markets. Three standout companies from the region will participate in the acceleration program:
Rize (Vietnam) focuses on sustainable agriculture by combining improved farming practices with proprietary monitoring technology to unlock green financing for rice cultivation while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Salary Hero (Thailand) offers a comprehensive financial health platform providing Thai workers with salary-on-demand services, financial education, budgeting tools, and high-interest savings options to improve employee financial wellbeing.
Spiro Carbon Group (Thailand) leverages AI, blockchain, and satellite monitoring to connect smallholder farmers across Southeast Asia with carbon markets and green financing opportunities.
These companies join a cohort of 15 leading fintech startups that will participate in an intensive acceleration program beginning with a week-long bootcamp in Luxembourg this June 2025. The program will culminate at the 5th Asia Finance Forum in the Philippines in September.
The initiative reinforces Luxembourg’s position as a leading hub for fintech innovation while driving sustainable financial advancement in emerging markets. Additional participants from Indonesia and the Philippines will be announced, joining previous cohorts from Singapore, Laos, Malaysia, and other regional markets.
Applications remain open for LHoFT’s Africa and Green Fintech programs, continuing the organization’s global approach to fostering inclusive financial innovation.
