The Inclusive Finance Network Luxembourg (InFiNe) is a non-profit association created in March 2014 to leverage Luxembourg’s leading position in both financial and development sectors. InFiNe brings together 44 key stakeholders from the public, private, and civil society sectors to foster the deployment of inclusive finance worldwide as a key tool for poverty alleviation and empowerment of low-income groups.
InFiNe’s mission is to capitalize on the considerable knowledge available in Luxembourg’s unique ecosystem to promote financial inclusion globally. The network facilitates knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration among its diverse membership, which includes development agencies, financial institutions, professional services firms, NGOs, and government institutions.
Through workshops, research, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, InFiNe works toward its vision of affordable financial services for all, contributing to sustainable and impactful development. The network co-organizes the annual European Microfinance Award and serves as Luxembourg’s voice in the global inclusive finance community.
InFiNe is supported by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and is headquartered at the Maison de la Microfinance in Luxembourg City.
