Leadership Update at InFiNe: Philippe Guichandut Steps in as Interim Director

InFiNe – Inclusive Finance Network Luxembourg is pleased to announce a temporary leadership transition as our Executive Director, Anne Bastin, begins parental leave from April through September 2025.

During this period, we are delighted to welcome Philippe Guichandut as our part-time Interim Director. Philippe, who previously served as Vice-Chairman of our Board, brings extensive experience from his role at Grameen Credit Agricole Foundation and his background in inclusive finance and network management.

“In the past I’ve been working with quite a lot of international NGOs. The most significant work I’ve done before joining Grameen Credit Agricole Foundation, was to be the first CEO of the European Microfinance Network, which is a network gathering actors dealing with microfinance in all Europe. I’ve been able to manage a team there, and to already work with some of our members,”

shares Philippe.

To avoid any conflict of interest, Philippe has officially resigned from his positions as vice-president and board member. He will be working with InFiNe approximately one-third of his time and will generally be present in Luxembourg two days per week until early October 2025.

Philippe will be supported by our dedicated team—Irene Pancheri, Julie Bodin, and Marie Salomé Diallo—who will continue advancing our shared mission of promoting financial inclusion in Luxembourg and beyond. Together, they will ensure the continued implementation of our strategic plan and all planned activities.

We wish Anne a wonderful time with her family and thank Philippe for his commitment to InFiNe during this period.
