Microinsurance Network Relaunches Gender & Inclusive Insurance Best Practice Group
InFiNe is pleased to share that our member, the Microinsurance Network (MiN), has relaunched their “Gender & Inclusive Insurance Best Practice Group” (formerly known as “Making Insurance Work for Women BPG”).
Co-chaired by Women’s World Banking, this initiative brings together professionals and organizations committed to advancing gender-inclusive approaches in microinsurance, with a focus on sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions to better serve women in inclusive insurance.
The group is part of MiN’s broader Best Practice Groups (BPGs) initiative, which supports the development and adoption of effective solutions to improve the quality and relevance of insurance services for low-income communities. These thematic groups are closely aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and various insurance business lines.
The Microinsurance Network’s members who join the Gender & Inclusive Insurance BPG will benefit from:
Engaging with experts and peers on gender-responsive insurance strategies
Sharing and gaining insights on designing products that cater to women’s needs
Collaborating on research, case studies, and actionable solutions
This relaunch reflects the growing recognition of the importance of gender-inclusive approaches in microinsurance and the need for targeted strategies to address the unique needs of women in low-income communities.
