8th Round of Surveys by ADA, Fondation Grameen Crédit Agricole – Members InFiNe.lu and Innpulse
ADA, Inpulse and the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation joined forces in 2020 to monitor and analyse the effects of the COVID-19 crisis on their partner microfinance institutions (MFIs) around the world. This monitoring was carried out periodically throughout 2020 to gain a better insight into how the crisis has developed internationally. This work has been extended into 2021 on a quarterly basis.
The conclusions presented in this article are based on the 8th survey which was carried out in the third quarter of 2021.
This survey shows that MFIs are still suffering the consequences of the crisis. Despite the recovery in operations, their growth is limited by low demand and digitalisation remains their priority.
