Location: Harvard (Boston)
Organiser: The African Development Conference
Event type: Conference

23 – 24 March

The African Development Conference (ADC) has over the years explored creative and collaborative approaches to opportunities and challenges in Africa, while emphasizing the enduring and dynamic concept of ‘Pan-Africanism.’ This year, the theme is : “Our Time Our Vision: Wielding Africa’s Potential for Sustainable Growth” and it aims to illuminate contemporary approaches to endogenous development strategies that emphasize unity and a common vision in the attainment of sustainable growth.

The conference will take an interdisciplinary approach drawing on strategies from three major pillars of sustainable growth: Democracy and Good Governance; Technology and Development, and Economic Partnerships.

The 9th ADC will assemble major stakeholders in African development including policy makers, scholars, government officials, business professionals, civil society, and students. Above all, we hope the conference will serve as a space where different players in development can connect and foster deeper engagements in furthering their common vision.
