InFiNe.lu, mentor for the 10 selected fintechs of CATAPULT: Inclusion Africa 2022 Dubai Edition

Developed by InFiNe.lu member, the LHoFT Foundation, CATAPULT: Inclusion Africa targets companies focusing on financial inclusion in Africa and the MENA region, aiming to build bridges with Luxembourg’s Microfinance Industry, highlighting their initiatives and very much aligned with the sustainability goals of Luxembourg’s finance centre.

The 3-day programme will end with a pitching session and evening gala at the Luxembourg Pavilion at the Dubaï World Expo 2020.

This special edition of CATAPULT: Inclusion Africa will once again leverage Luxembourg’s Inclusive Finance and Fintech ecosystem to support selected firms in developing their businesses and achieving their inclusion goals. In addition, firms will get unique exposure to the Dubai finance and Fintech ecosystem with the support of DIFC Fintech Hive Dubai, local and international mentors including InFiNe.lu.

  • eMaisha Pay (uganda): Mobile platform unlocking financial opportunities for SMEs in Africa
  • Halal Payment (Nigeria): All-inclusive digital payments service platform leveraging on Islamic banking system to provide shariah based financing for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
  • International Airtime Top Up (Uganda): Airtime, money transfers and cash pick up solutions to/from African corridors
  • MamaMoni Limited (Nigeria): Micro loans for low-income female entrepreneurs, and digital and financial literacy training
  • motito (Ghana): “by now, pay later” platform promoting financial inclusion and increased access to credit in Africa.
  • Social Lender (Nigeria): Financial Services based on Social (media) Reputation
  • VIRL Rural & Social Financial Services (Zimbabwe): Providing loans to smallholder farmers, micro and small enterprises.
