The ABBL (The Luxembourg Bankers’Association) and InFiNe.lu organise a panel discusion about the Challenges of Financial Education on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the House of Microfinance (39, rue Glesener L-1631 Luxembourg). The panel discussion will be followed by a drink.
Financial decisions play an important role in people’s daily lives. In order to contribute to further financial inclusion, people must be enable to take sound financial decisions. It is important to provide children with knowledge and skills to manage money with confidence. Financial Education is one of the key topics of the financial inclusion international agenda.
The ABBL believes that it is essential to develop competencies in financial education. In the Framework of the European Money Week launched by the European Banking Federation, ABBL will organise “D’Woch vun Suen – The Money Week“, which will take place in Luxembourg from 9 to 13 March 2015. The purpose of the event is to make pupils of the cycle 4.1. (Luxembourg primary school) aware of money aspects.
The panel discussion on March 2, 2015 will talk about the challenges to develop program and policies on financial education for everybody. The presentation will be in French.
